I first qualified to work with children in a formal setting back in 2002. My career and professional life have been devoted to teaching sports to children where the focus has been on children’s development as a whole. I have always wanted to explore teaching at different age groups and my experience is a reflection of that. A considerable amount of time within my professional career has been spent in secondary schools and more recently in further education, however as my career progressed I have come to realize that I am more able to reach my teaching potential as a primary school teacher and therefore better suited to teach KS1 and KS2 children.
